Design as a Narrative Voice
Whether it’s data-driven marketing report or a new business finding its identity, I believe in the power of design to tell a story & convey information effectively & beautifully. I use the growing myriad of design elements & tools available to not only create something aesthetically evoking, but to tell a story. Below are some samples of my work – I hope you enjoy taking a look & learning more.
Museum of Nostalgia Branding
This unique small business is a place for people to enjoy the toys & media of their childhoods, so the logo should be bright, retro, & fun. The font evokes neon lights, pinball, & roller rinks, while the shade of orange are welcoming & similarly of the ‘70s & ’80s. The accent TV nods to the focus on cartoons & video games of the past, as well as acting as a symbol for the living room, letting customers know this is a place for people to gather.

Lachi Set Pieces & Promos
I designed digital signage, print program, & digital set elements for a performance starring the award-winning musician, Lachi. I based the set around her mantra of being a blue butterfly in a sky of red ones, & designed other elements to showcase her beautiful, flowing style on the piano.
